L.E.M. Systems LLC (“L.E.M. Systems,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides commercial fire alarm, security, and life safety services in New Mexico. This policy explains what information we collect from our customers, how we use it, and how we protect it.
We collect only the information we need to provide and service the systems we install and maintain:
We use customer information to schedule and perform work, communicate about active jobs and service calls, dispatch technicians, conduct inspections and monitoring, issue quotes and invoices, and meet our recordkeeping obligations under New Mexico licensing and applicable fire and life safety codes.
L.E.M. Systems sends text messages only to customers, using mobile numbers those customers provided to us directly in the course of doing business — for example, on a signed service agreement or proposal, a work order, an inspection or site contact sheet, a quote request submitted through this website, or when a customer gave us the number while requesting or scheduling service. Customers provide these numbers so that we can reach them about their work, and by providing a mobile number a customer agrees that we may contact them by text at that number about their project or service.
Text messages we send are transactional and service-related. They include appointment and inspection scheduling and confirmations, technician dispatch and arrival notifications, service and job status updates, alarm and monitoring follow-up, and replies to questions customers send us. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and we do not text people who have not contacted us or engaged our services. We do not buy, rent, or use purchased lists of phone numbers, and we do not text numbers obtained from anyone other than the customer.
Message frequency varies based on your active jobs and scheduled service. Message and data rates may apply.
To stop receiving text messages, reply STOP to any message from us and we will not text that number again.

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with any third party for their own marketing purposes. Mobile numbers and text message consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing.
We do not transfer consumer data to external organizations except as strictly necessary to provide the service, and we do not share such data with third parties for any other purpose, even with consent, unless required by law. An example of a strictly necessary transfer is the telecommunications carriers that deliver our text messages to your phone. Mobile opt-in and consent are never shared with anyone for any purpose, and any information sharing described elsewhere in this policy excludes mobile opt-in data.
We do not sell customer information. We share it only as needed to do the work:
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect customer information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We keep customer and service records for as long as needed to service your systems and to satisfy our legal, licensing, insurance, and code compliance obligations. Inspection and system records are often required to be retained for multiple years.
You may ask us to correct your contact information, ask what information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you by a particular method. To opt out of text messages specifically, reply STOP to any message. Contact us using the details below for any other request.
Our services are provided to businesses and commercial facilities. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. The revised date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
